MiniCourse Video
REFLECTION
This video fits into my minicourse by promoting the course itself. It captures some of exciting involved in taking the course and producing a video with other students. It highlights some of the basic parts of the course, such as the equipment and what the students will learn without going into too many details. The video includes a music background track, some animated elements and the voice over alternates between two different voice types.
I created the closed captioning in Adobe Premiere, corrected spelling, punctuation and timing, and exported the SRT file. I then imported the SRT into the YouTube upload of the video.
I have to admit that I took on a bit more technically than I had expected to. I used 3 different software tools to create this video: VideoScribe (which I used for the first time and had to tackle a learning curve, then I used Canva to create the AI generated voice overs, and I finished the project in Adobe Premiere by marrying the voiceover with the video, and generated the closed caption files. Of course, the 4th program I used was YouTube. I hope to be able toe reduce this workflow to only 2 applications.
